Plan Terms (Centhead Plus)

Draft text. This document is a working draft for the demo installation. It must be completed and reviewed by a qualified lawyer before the service goes live.

Centhead Plus is an optional paid plan. You do not need it to use Centhead, and most people will not benefit from it. These terms sit alongside the Terms of Service.

It only pays off above a break-even. The plan costs $4.99 per 30 days. In return Centhead’s fee on your own ad views and game ad breaks is 0% instead of 15%: you keep 100% of what advertisers pay for them, which gives you back 15% of your gross ad revenue. It therefore pays for itself only when that gross is above $4.99 ÷ 15% = $33.27 a month (about $28.28 earned at the standard rate). At the average value of today’s ads that is about 4,870 ads a month, or 162 ads a day (about 47 minutes of ads every day); the daily limit is 200 ads. Below that, the plan costs you more than it returns. Centhead does not promise that you will earn any amount, and most members will not earn enough to benefit.

1. What it changes

  • While the plan is active, Centhead’s fee is 0% (you keep 100%) on your own ad views and game ad breaks that are booked to your account.
  • It does not change the fee on offers, surveys and shop rewards: that money comes from third parties, not from advertisers for ads, and the standard 15% stays on it. Nor does it change tasks, polls, sponsored-visit bonuses, tips or creator sales, which keep their own rules and stay at 15%.
  • The fee that applied to a payout is fixed at the moment the payout is booked and is stored and shown with it. Cancelling, a lapse, a refund or a later change of price or terms never changes a payout that was already booked, in either direction.
  • A referral reward is paid out of Centhead’s fee. On an ad view or game ad break covered by the plan there is no fee, so there is no reward on it for the person who invited you; their reward on your offers, surveys and shop rewards is unchanged. It never reduces your earnings.
  • If a payout is reversed, for example because an ad network reports invalid traffic, the amount is taken back from your own pending or available balance, exactly as for any other payout. If you have already withdrawn it, your available balance goes negative until later earnings repay it, and withdrawals wait until it is repaid.

2. Price and payment

  • The price is $4.99 for each period of 30 days. It is paid from your available balance: never more than you have, so the plan can never make your balance negative, and earnings still in their hold period are not used.
  • Where a card payment is offered (the demonstration only), the card processor’s own cost is added to the price at cost, shown to you before you confirm and recorded as its own line. Centhead earns nothing on it.
  • Before you buy, the app shows what the plan would have done to your own last 30 days (what you would have kept with it, after the price, against what you kept without it), in the same words whether that is good news or bad news, together with the break-even above in money and in ads a day.
  • Each payment is a separate line in your wallet history and in Centhead’s accounts. Centhead records plan payments as its own revenue, apart from the fee on earnings.
  • There is no free trial and no discount that turns into a charge. The plan starts only when you press the button that says what it will cost.

3. Renewal and lapse

  • The plan renews every 30 days, from your available balance, until you cancel, at the price you agreed to or lower. If the price or the fee changes in a way that is worse for you, the plan is not renewed; nothing is charged, and you can read the new terms and choose again.
  • About three days before a renewal we send you a reminder (in the app, and by email where email is on) stating the date and the amount.
  • If your available balance does not cover the renewal on the day, nothing is charged and the plan ends (it “lapses”). We tell you. Your balance never goes negative because of the plan, and you can start it again whenever you like.

4. Cancelling and refunds

  • You can cancel at any time in the app (Plan page). The plan then runs until the end of the period you already paid for and does not renew. You can undo the cancellation before that date.
  • Nothing you earned is taken back when the plan ends, and cancelling does not refund the unused part of the period automatically.
  • If something went wrong, write to support@centhead.com. Support can refund your last payment (and only the last one), with a written reason, to your available balance; the plan then ends with it. A card cost that was added at cost cannot be returned by the card processor and is not refunded. Rights you have under consumer law (including any right to cancel a distance contract) are not limited by these terms.

5. Changes and ending

We may change the price or the plan fee for future periods, or stop offering the plan; a change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and it is never charged to you without your agreement as described in section 3.

6. Demo installations

On a demo installation the plan uses demonstration money. Nothing in it has real value, and the service has not been cleared to handle real money.
